Recommendations for a physical MP3 player that works w OSX? If you want some degree of automation and organisation, you'll need a management program that isn't iTunes - and that's where programs like j.River Media Center comes in.I use it with my main stereo and stream music to network players in other rooms. But I find it extremely capable and flexible, and because it is just a player, they have an interest in catering to you instead of the copyright rentiers. Not free, and it is a bit of a strange application at first. Apple Music is the last library focused music service To anyone else who still wants to own their own music, I highly recommend looking at Jriver Media Center.I am going back to ripping my old CDs and having my own local library.
